I often get questioned about where I get my inspiration for my designs, or how I choose the various designs in my inlay. To tell you the truth, I might have an idea for a design, and even do detailed drawings, but once I start actually working with the wood, I usually make many changes and the end result is different from the original design. I guess that is part of the "creative process"! I would love to hear from other artists, and other woodworkers.
